Stellantis, the automotive giant, has made a significant mark with its compact and budget-friendly Citroen Basalt, popular in India and parts of Latin America since last year. This year, the manufacturing firm has taken an inventive leap by introducing a sportier iteration known as the Citroen Basalt Vision. Highlighted in this variant is a modified suspension system that lowers the vehicle's ride height for enhanced stability and a sporty stance. The wheels have also seen an upgrade, now featuring intricate 18-inch designs that have replaced the standard 16-inch options. The rear is accentuated by an imposing spoiler adorned with a reflective red stripe, reinforcing the aerodynamic feel. The Citroen Basalt Vision effectively incorporates the Black Styling Package, characterized by its contrasting black roof, polished accents around the wheel arches, and tinted lens lights, giving it a more audacious appearance against the vibrant body colors. From a mechanical perspective, the performance package includes a 1.0-liter three-cylinder bi-fuel engine capable of running on both gasoline and ethanol, producing 130 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. This powerhouse is paired with a continuously variable transmission and a front-wheel-drive system, ensuring a balance of efficiency and responsiveness.
